Our newest kitty, sheltered from the storm. She spent a good 6 weeks outside eating at the outside food dish, bitterly cold and too much snow. We finally lured her inside. Dusty is a very happy indoor kitty now. Kandi is not so happy about this.

Today's picture reminded me why my husband wanted to start this blog. We had decided to take a picture of Kandi somewhere cute today. Since we are stuck in the house for the next two days waiting out 16+ inches of snow to fall. :p So someone picked her up and snuggled her in the hope that she would pick a more photogenic spot (okay cleaner). When she got down,  she got back on the box and went back to sleep. She has decided. This is Kandi's spot of the day.

A small part of her is 'in' the laundry basket, mostly she is perched on the edge...and she was sleeping that way.

Keep in mind right across the room is brand new carpeted kitty platform. Kandi loves the wood pile. She sleeps on it, sits on it and the plastic covering on the bundle is a most excellent and noisy scratching post.
